Only five spams in three boxes this week, all of them also missed by DSPAM, all of them marked for quarantine by postini-neptune, when Plusnet registers for that....
Brilliant!!

Best option when it arrives is to delete it.
Better option is to take steps to prevent it arriving as best you can.

Outlook sent all spam to the junk folder, then started failing.
No matter how many times I selected a senders email address as SAFE it still appeared as spam next time it was received.
Any idea how to re-educate Outlook spam filter?
Thanks

i use google's free webmail service.
https://mail.google.com/
The spam filter is the best I have ever seen. I get maybe one spam email every 3 months. The storage you get is enourmous, (6 Gig at the moment).
It is easy to check your email from anywhere.
Why would you want to use your ISPs mailbox?

Quote from: helenfrances SPAM SPAM and more [Censored] spam and not the tin kind i like to add today alone i had 80 spams. It is getting beyond a joke now what is getting through. I also have yahoo and very rarely get any thing there so if they can do it and its free why cant plus net. And to top it all my husband is on my back about it to as it in my name. Men and spam who needs it lol.
Why not apply to be moved to Postini? Am I right in assuming that there are only 3 email addresses on your account that you use? The only reason I ask is that your catch-all is still switched on.

Last week all my emails from a forum I am registered to suddenly came in with spam in the title and an odd one still is.........these are not spam and I dont want them interferred with in anyway.
On the other had all the true spam has come in just the same as normal with all the viagra and offensive email titles...............no spam there!
I have asked for spam checking or to go on any kind of trial and if true spam was going to be picked up fine but how can they tell.
Also over the same period did not receive emails from another plusnet customer, were these spammed out and how much other stuff have i lost?

Quote from: sneakiefeline Well I have just had an email from the postini team and am seriously angry.

Postini is not marking emails with [-SPAM-] yet. That's the old system that's doing that. See here.
I suspect the problems you were having were to do with this which I extend my apologies for.

Please see the previous information I linked to. When we allow Postini to take control of the spam tagging then you should see a *big* improvement in this area.

Have you checked your 'Spam' folder?
