Smart TV message "HD will resume shortly"
Can anyone explain why I should get this message on my TV at least once a day ? I watch through broadband on wired ethernet, not even on wireless. I only watch BBC iPlayer. Is this a BBC technical problem or my broadband service, and how would I check ? Can anyone advise ?

What's the exact name of the channel you're streaming? If you're watching "BBC One HD" (or BBC One Wales/Scotland/N. Ireland HD) it will drop to the slate during the regional opts, just like it does on satellite, cable and Freeview. It's because the regional opts are not (yet) in HD.
