I did try installing it, no file type associations were created, using "Open With" then other application doesn't work either. To create something that worked I had to start from wine-extension-jpe.desktop.

What wine version are you using?
Also look at this thread (https://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,86619.0.html) where we dealt with a LOT of infraview issues for Shutter.

Thanks to ejs, who has been very patient with me, and my "mess ups"    I have finally got it working correctly....

AND...... I have just got a further 6 programs (downloaded from the net) to load and work in less than 30 minutes !  AMAZING ! ! !... 
Things are looking good....!
