Sending e mail from within Acrobat Pro Xi always fails; numerous web suggestions
Running Windows 10; Outlook 2013 32 bit:
I have a common problem it seems, in that although Outlook set as default e mail client, whenever I use mail icon in full version of
Acrobat Pro Xi, it always fails as per image "Setting".
I get error box pop up and no e mail with pdf attached for me to write on to, and tells me Outlook not set as default; it is :-[.
Adobe & Windows blame each other for the well known/ long standing glitch, and various fixes suggested on interweb have all failed for me. Outlook 2013 doesn't seem compatible with 3rd party s/ware for this essential function:' (
An alternative e mail setting is available* in Adobe, as shown in "set up" image; it is based on imap which I don't use, and I've tried using Port 143 and imap.plus.net, instead of Port 25 & relay.plus.net; neither any good.
However, it fails on send as per pop up shown; not sure when it works if it's supposed to bring an Outlook blank e mail with pdf attached.
*ie not using Outlook as default.
Latest updates applied to Acrobat by the way.
