Security Centre Problem

I have AVG8 free version but have turned off Link Scanner & Redident Shield.
I have also set the 'Ignore Faulty Components Conditions' for the above two within AVG and set Windows Security Centre Virus Protection to not Monitored yet, every so often, the Security Centre reports that there is no virus protection and I have to reset it.
Today I noticed it happened after a custom Windows Update but I am sure it has happened at other times.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Security Centre Problem

Often a update from MS will trigger the Security Centre and it will advise you again. There isnt a lot of point of having AV if its turned off you never know when it will strike and by then its to late a scan to find it after could be to late
