plusdsl customer, sudeenly my system cant access google (web, images, vieoes etc) but can access google maps, thought the problem was Moszilla, so tried IE, cherome and opera, problem still exiests.
Then tried Yahoo and Altavista browsers and they dont appear.
Tried a laptop using same router all is ok, prolem seems to be fine.
Any idea's as to the problem. T.I.A.

If you open a command window and type in
tracert www.google.co.uk
you should get something like this

There are a number of possibilities but two to check are whether you have any malware - try doing a full scan with http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Next see what is in your hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034
Another couple of things to check
If you type
ipconfig /all
in a command window (not the space between ipconfog and /all)
what are the DNS servers shown as
Can you check what the router shows for the DNS servers

adapter Connection name

Options:
/? Display this help message
/all Display full configuration information.
/release Release the IP address for the specified adapter.
/renew Renew the IP address for the specified adapter.
/flushdns Purges the DNS Resolver cache.
/registerdns Refreshes all DHCP leases and re-registers DNS names
/displaydns Display the contents of the DNS Resolver Cache.
/showclassid Displays all the dhcp class IDs allowed for adapter.
/setclassid Modifies the dhcp class id.
The default is to display only the IP address, subnet mask and

For Release and Renew, if no adapter name is specified, then the IP address
leases for all adapters bound to TCP/IP will be released or renewed.
For Setclassid, if no ClassId is specified, then the ClassId is removed.
