Scheduling a download

Hi,
I would like to download COD 4 demo which is 1.2gb. How do I schedule a download to take place at midnight so it does not affect my usage?  I use Firefox and IE 7. DO I require a seperate program?
Many thanks
Dave

Re: Scheduling a download

That would be really handy - I just get up early in the week to do mine!
Sorry ............. not very helpful

Re: Scheduling a download

Use a download manager like getright or similar.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_download_managers
I can recommend GetRight, not used for many years but it worked great then 🙂  Have a search for freeware or open source download managers, there may be a few there as well.

Re: Scheduling a download

Flashget and  FreeDownloadManager both work extremely well for scheduling either http, ftp or even torrent downloads.
I've used both extensively and really can recommend them highly.

Re: Scheduling a download

Getright also does torrents,  so I imagine most dl managers will.

I've got version 1.8.2.1001 on my desktop and it downloads torrents.

Re: Scheduling a download

I used freedownloadmanager last night and it worked a dream - downloading between 0002 and 0400 and then it even shutdown the computer - perfect for what I need.
Many thanks
