Sagecom 2704n Router

I was supplied with this Plusnet router when I requested an updated router in mid-October, 2017.

I now read in the current 'Which?' that this router is vulnerable to a hacker attack. 'Which?'  say that Plusnet are aware of this will 'soon' be releasing a security patch to fix this issue.

Can you tell me when this will happen, will it happen automatically, and will I be told that it has happened?You will apprteciate that I am somewhat concerned.

If you login to the router it should tell you somewhere what version of the firmware it is running and when it was last updated.
