Reinstalled Firefox and now can't open hyperlinks from Outlook 2003 emails

I have tried all the usual fixes but to no avail

yes and the link doesn't work in Windows 10 and the others don't work either

Sorted and you won't believe it

Went into Control Panel Windows Features and enabled Internet Explorer and rebooted

With Firefox still as the default browser it all works
