Recovering emails and address book

The computer I was working on and trying to repair last week gave up the ghost
I have carried over data and re installed programs to another computer
I can still access data on the old hard drive using an HDD Docking station

I now need to find both the address book and emails from outlook express on the old one and transfer them over
I have searched through google and can only find methods that require 2 working computers. Not a hard drive to a working one.
I haven't a clue where they are stored and so far my search has been fruitless
Can anyone please advise

Easy way is to do a search for *.dbx (email folders) and *.wab for the address book
Make sure to show hidden files,  folders and drives

Then use the import wizard in OE to import from these files.
