This might seem a dumb question.
From router/modem stats, is there a way to find out if my FTTC / VDSL2 connection has disconnected & re-synced?
I have a ZyXel VMG3925-B10B and I also use DSLstats v6.5 running on it too. I have googled this question but unable to find anything useful.
many thanks in advance.
Mark

@markuswelby Dunno, if you can access your routers "home page"... where it tells you what speed up and down... etc etc etc... somewhere in there, it may say "time on line".. or "time connected".... and, for example, it says 1 day 2hours 14 mins... then that is how long since the last disconnect...
Don`t know if Routerstats will work for you,... but you could try searching on line for some similar type software to monitor you line stats...

Probably worth running https://www.speedtest.net/?test-3 as a speed test every few days.
Apart from showing speed fluctuations, you can get it to show your external ip address - although there is no guarantee that you will get a different ip address after a reconnection.
You will need to use the export option to see the ip address, though.

Many thanks for your input @shutter
I started DSLstats v6.5 software running yesterday and left running over night. I might leave this running 24/7 and see how it goes.

@VileReynard thanks for your input.
I've been doing that on Thinkbroadband speed test.
And also using their quality monitor recently.
