Looking for a laptop rest with fans venting up.

I've just came in to set this topic as 'Fixed' but I don't see any option to do this, I assume as a result of it being in the General Chat. So can I ask a mod (maybe @Mav or @dvorak who are online now) to please to move this to the "Tech Help" forum please.

I'm looking for a laptop table where the fans blow their air up into the base of the laptop, but all I can find are ones that do the opposite, does anyone know where I can get one please? Or what these are called if they have a specific name.

So.... you want to blow all the dust INTO your laptop ! ! ... 

Well, that is pretty much the same as the internal fans sucking it into it, I suppose.... 

to keep my laptop kool,       and the vents underneath clear, I have used a 12 inch length of 1" x 1" wood, and fixed it with some blu tack to lift the far end of the keyboard, ( under the screen hinge) which also makes the keyboard more "user friendly"..

Excellent @jaread83, just what I was looking for so I just ordered one. @shutter, this is my son’s laptop and he spent a lot of money on it so just wants to keep it as cool as possible, thankfully though he’ll not disappear in a cloud of dust when it starts up as he keeps his room very, very, very clean and tidy. But that's another story.

If you think it's running hot check the drivers have not come away from the heat sink? Happened to mine and a quick squirt of some compound and a re-fix and it was all sorted.

Do those with SSD have the same problem?
