A router firewall is probably quite sufficient for Linux.
I wonder why M$ don't bother to supply a virus checker - or even prevent them from "infecting" in the first place?

Second - who do you think provides Microsoft Security Essentials which is an antivirus

I don't have any AV on my Mac but I don't feel the need to bleat about it on every thread.
Linux is still not ready for the vast majority of users...

I wasn't bleating - or even mentioning - that Linux is fully ready for any user
