I've started getting this problem too.
I am sending email from Thunderbird to a remote mail server through my plusnet broadband connection
if I send outwith plusnet then all is fine. (i.e using my mobile phone connection or webmail)
the isue seems to be in going through the plusnet system while sending to port 587 on a remote server.
(meaning plusnet support do need to look at the issue) 🐵
