Change desktop icon size in Vista

Hmmmm interesting, I never knew of this one. What if you don't have a wheel mouse, or its a laptop touchpad? Might go try this out now on the laptop ^_^ It's always one thing that agrivated me but I couldn't be bothered trying to change it.

Yea it does, I just wasn't sure if this would give the same effect to Vista due to it being different inputs. Cheers

PJ I may have misunderstood what you are saying but for me right clicking the desktop and selecting view/classic icons makes them how I always remember then (size wise) in XP. Do I have the wrong end of the stick?

Ah I see, does the mouse wheel method allow you to make them smaller than just selecting classic icons?

Don't you just love how MS are losing the plot when it comes to a GUI interface? Took me 30 mins to figue out where they hid the TCP/IP properties!

That's one of the biggest gripes about Vista
....too much hand holding

You can use the mouse wheel to change the size of icons in windows as well as the desktop, just in case folks hadn't noticed.
