RIM not working on my TG582n router

Hi,
I have a blackberry 9320 and I'm trying to get my RIM (Research In Motion) working on my TG582n router. My mobile phone provider is giffaff, I got in touch with them and they said they have checked the settings on my phone so everything should work on my wifi but it doesn't so they advised me to get in touch with my ISP to see if they could advise me on how to do it. Could anyone help me with this?

It would would help if you explained what the problem is, what checks you've done so far and what error messages you've seen.  RIM is the former name of Blackberry Ltd so 'RIM not working' doesn't really tell us much...
Have you got the device successfully connecting to your wifi?
Can you browse web sites?
Is it an email problem you need help with?

My blackberry needs a software update but it can't connect to the server through my wifi for some reason?
