RESOLVED - Anyone help with this Squid error?

I have been using Squid as a proxy server so I can have an SSH tunnel into my Mac Mini and surf when I'm out and about.
It all worked great until I upgraded to Leopard and had to re-install it. Now for a lot of websites squid returns:
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://news.bbc.co.uk/
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for news.bbc.co.uk
The dnsserver returned:
Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query.
This means that:
The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.
There isn't any issue with the mac finding these addresses and I can get to them all surfing directly.
Google doesn't seem to offer any reasonable suggestions, so any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Anyone help with this Squid error?

I am guessing that your pc does a dns lookup and then requests the ip from the proxy. If this is the case then the dns error is on your pc. Does it work if you first get the ip address and type that in?
Can you set the dns up when using the proxy or does it work it out its self

Missed of setting the -D in the startup which has sorted it out. Makes it bypass all the initial DNS tests
