Problems with Cloudflare DNS resolver / Firefox

I've been having problems on and off all morning with Firefox and specifically the Cloudflare DNS resolver. Like trying to run through treacle, anybody else noticed it or anybody changed Firefox DNS settings, if so did it make a difference?

I think I (well Google actually 😊 ) may have found the answer. In FF about:config I've changed "network.dns.disableIPv6" from false to true and it seems much 'zippier'.
