Problems setting up Plusnet email on mobile phone

Can anyone recommend  a phone that is compatible with Plusnet emails, please? I have unsussessfully attempted to set this up on a Nokia Asha 300. I'm unable to do so as the phone doesn't have the facility to enter the username, just email and password. I assume this will need to be a phone where you can manually enter the information? Galaxy Ace has been suggested - any feed back please? I don't want to go down the route of a smart phone or i phone. I'm told I need to use another email address!

Thanks. The problems sounds similar to mine. However, the download is in relation to an Asha 303 and mine ia a 300. Not sure if that will make a difference?
