Look in the startup on the menu and it will be in there, remove it then run some malware cleaners on it.

Its a scam
Somehow it always seema to get past anti virus and anti malware and takes over the whole computer
I got it I hadnt been looking at porn .. honest
In my case I was lucky. I got into safe mode and ran malwarebytes and it worked
If your unlucky it can even prevent using safe mode
I'm curious if anyone knows a good software package that's known to prevent it
Personally I use Zone Alarm and since I've had it I've had no problem
I have no idea if thats due to luck or Zone Alarm beating it

Quote from: Hairy boot to safe mode and hold down SHIFT to stop the autorun programs.
I've never heard of this use of the SHIFT key. Are you sure you aren't getting confused with Mac OS where you use to SHIFT key to safe boot?
