Plusnet / madasafish / Freenetname

I have a web site hosted by Freenetname (since bought by Madasafish and then in 2007 by Plusnet). I'm desperate to update the web site but when I try to use my ftp client I get the message: 'connection established waiting for welcome message', then in red 'could not connect to server'. I've been trying since Sunday.  Help please.

Hi, 

id would also like the fact that I have to pay from email only to keep my domain active addressed! freenetname was supposed to be FREE as long as you used them as an ISP. As you are now officially one company, can you sort this out. Been paying £20 / year, even though I've asked for this for at least two years or more.

Thanks Phil. It now seems that Plusnet engineers are working on the problem. I wish them well. I hope I can soon update my web site.

Thank you Plusnet engineer. You've fixed the problem as promised. I can now use my ftp client to update the web site which I set up many years ago hosted by Freenetname.
