Plusnet issued Sagem 2704n Router - will it work with Talk Talk

I am leaving Plusnet and moving to Talk Talk. My Sagem 2704n router is quite new and works very  well. I plan to keep it as a spare in case the Talk Talk router is the pits or malfunctions. What do I need to do before I leave Plusnet to ensure it is able to work on the Talk Talk system.  Does it have to be reconfigured by Plusnet or will I be able to change the username/password after I leave.

If you can, clear the username / password (connection details) off the current plus net router.  You could factory reset it.
TalkTalk may not require connection login details as they authenticate routers differently.  However if they do require details, they can be found by contacting TalkTalk.

How do I clear the password/username?
I see the reset  pinhole on the back of the router so by pressing that  will it work on Talk Talk without further ado.

Unfortunately I don't have the older Plusnet router to hand since I only have the Hub One.
However try resetting it and it may work.

Details on how to set up the Sagem can be found on the Help Pages Here.
You will need to enter your TT details rather than the PN ones.

Mustrum, thanks for the link. It looks fine.  I know it was simple to do when I set up Plusnet broadband but I did not know if using a Plusnet router to connect to Talk Talk broadband would be a problem. If all else fails, a factory reset will be my option..
