Plusnet DNS or Parental Controls Blocking our website

Really hoping that someone from Plusnet's technical support reads this and can look at the cause of the problem as we have had a number of Plusnet customers contact us due to them being able to view our website and after talking to Plusnet phone support they were unwilling to help due to us not being a customer and we got a stock repsonse that our website worked for them more than likley due to their settings being somewhat different to the users who have been contacting us

The Problem:

Plusnet and BT (I'm assuming they are using the same infrastructure for parental controls as they are the same company) are unable to correctly DNS lookup any subdomain of msw.ms which relates to our content delivery network for https://magicseaweed.com

An example is
>nslookup ec2-im-1.msw.ms
Server:        192.168.16.1
Address:    192.168.16.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
ec2-im-1.msw.ms    canonical name = geo.msw.ms.
geo.msw.ms    canonical name = eu.msw.ms.
Name:    eu.msw.ms
Address: 84.16.241.67
Name:    eu.msw.ms
Address: 31.193.136.197
Name:    eu.msw.ms
Address: 84.16.241.68
Name:    eu.msw.ms
Address: 31.193.136.201

Currently we are seeing plusnet users getting this response

>nslookup ec2-im-1.msw.ms
Server:        192.168.1.254
Address:    192.168.1.254#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    ec2-im-1.msw.ms
Address: 81.130.111.239

This is returning a BT owned IP on name lookup rather than the correct repsonse above, I have given users opendn's settings to see if this has resolved the issue and it has in every case.

If possible i would really like to find out why Plusnet are blocking our content delivery network as we are a surf forecasting site and should not be classified as anything other than this

Thanks

Re: Plusnet DNS or Parental Controls Blocking our website

I have no problem viewing that website here but then I don't use parental controls. Maybe that is where the problem lies.

Ever helpful. Grin Sure, I’d love to help you out. Now which way did you come in?

Re: Plusnet DNS or Parental Controls Blocking our website

I don't use parental controls of dubious purpose.
