Plusnet Assist update

I am trying to carry out the update to Plusnet Assist which keeps appearing every time I start Windows 7.  It does seem to install, taking up about 5 minutes, then it just shuts down without any message (I assumed it would at least tell me it had updated successfully?).  then next time I boot up my computer the bl..dy thing asks me again if I want to update.
Anyone else got the same problem?  How do I fix please?

Re: Plusnet Assist update

From memory I think the answer was to uninstall it and then install the new version

Re: Plusnet Assist update

We've narrowed the issue down to the update causing an issue with (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Account_Control">UAC</a>) User Account Control. This affects users using Windows Vista and Windows 7.
When updating, please ensure that this is done in 'Administrator' mode. If for some reason you don't have the user permissions to complete the update, it simply wont complete.
Removing and installing the program itself will resolve the problem, as well as updating in 'Administrator'mode.
