I have been getting a email from a company everyday and every day I use webmail and tell it its spam. Two weeks after telling it everyday and it still doesnt mark it as spam it still comes through.
How long doe sit take the filters to kick in. The message is the same every time it just adds the day so I get a message trader alert monday the next one is the same trader alert Tuesday and so on.

I have noticed exactly the same problem with the spam i get, it seems that sometimes its just not working at all
and gets it all ar** about face
Some legitimate emails i mark as not spam come through to my inbox unmarked but then a week or so later
there they are again in the spam folder marked -SPAM- so i go through the process again
Then the real spam like yourself i mark as -SPAM- seems to get overlooked ignored etc and i now feel that
the filters are not training at all
and gets it all ar** about face

It sbeen about 4 weeks now and every day I tell the system via webmail that the trader alert email is spam but it doesnt take any notice. It must be a women.

There is no set timescale for these to be blocked as spam, if it is an email that has an opt-out link you should use that rather than reporting as spam. You can also blacklist the address of the email if it's coming from the same place each time.

Is it a spam or is it an email that other Plusnet users may be wanting to receive?

Its spam from hong kong tell me about new products the company has and its the same very day. It shouldn't make a difference it should be spam to me.

is that why my e-mails from ALDI uk - a good reputable company are all now being marked as spam? cant you just unsubscribe? or was it a company you had not dealt with?
