Playlist problem with WMP V12 W7 Pro 64

For a long time I  was using the playlist option but after moving my music files (over 7000) around I find that it plays for a while (never actually times it but seems like less than 30 minutes) then stops with the options to Resume, Go to Library or Play previous list.

Clicking Resume lets it continue for another period before stopping again.

It's a long time since I set up a playlist so have probably done something wrong - any advice, please?

@Mav - Might this be related to your power management settings? Maybe the HD is scheduled to power down on 30 mins.

@Anonymous

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think so as playlists from the same HDD work as expected in winamp.

I too am having the same problem with WMP12..but yet on wifey's system (WMP11) the playlist runs fine. Perhaps a bug? It's not just music either, it happens when playing video's too.

Playlists should be editable in any text editor.

Can you see anything strange in them?

Re: Playlist problem with WMP V12 W7 Pro 64

Sorry for the late reply.

Couldn't see anything untoward in the playlist. I have deleted all playlists, dragged the folder I want to make a play list from (contains a little over 5000 song now) to the playlist area in Library view. Saved it as 'AllMusic' and started playing. Will report back if the problem persists.
