Have any force9 customers had any problem with play.com registration.
I have some discount vouchers from McDonalds.
When I have tried to register I have entered my f9 email address but get a message "Please enter a valid email address".
It appears that they are trying to validate the length of the ISP name, and f9 fails for being too short, entering force9 instead of f9 validates, but that isn't a valid address.
I have tried contacting them, but have got not bothered to reply.

An address like somemailbox@username.force9.co.uk should work (it does for me).

Thanks, that does work. I had always thought it wouldn't.
Not sure I want to do business with them now, if they can make such fundamental errors and don't respond, I wonder what other horrors are lurking?

I'd also recommend play.com, we've also used them for many years now, ever since I realised their CDs were cheaper than the high street. The only time we ever had a faulty dvd they sent out a new one as soon as I emailed them, before even receiving the faulty one back.
Not always the cheapest deals these days, but I'd put their service up there with the best.

Only ever had a 'problem' once when they sent out a title about 4 days after release date (I'd pre-ordered) and they gave me a £1.99 refund.

I've been using play.com for several years and never had an issue with them. I don't like to do online shopping in general as I always have privacy concerns over credit card details, play.com is one of my most trusted e-commerce sites, and they get a big A++++ from me for delivery times (and its free) and cost of most products
