Hi
Does anybody know how to get Acrobat Distiller to monitor a folder and automatically convert any word documents to PDF
Tried all sorts but no joy as yet!

I have Distiller 6.0 so I don't know if it is the same as your version.
When you open Distiller, there is a Settings tab where you set "Watched folders" and set process interval (how often folders ate checked?)
...never used it so best of luck!

yeah the option is there but it constantly fails to convert doc files.
I found a free alternative actually so all is good, thanks

Just for info, what did you find?
I use CutePDF for creating PDF files but it cannot create on the fly from folders like Distiller.

We use distiller in the office, but you need to print the word document to a postscript file in the watched directory. Then it will convert it to pdf automatically.
