PDF Reader

Does anyone know of a free PDF reader that will allow you to copy and paste sections into microsoft word so it can be printed out.
I Use PDF-xchange viewer which is great for reading documents but to copy and paste sections the pro version is required and for what little I need to do it would be pointless purchasing the pro version.
Very reluctant to install adobe reader although I am not sure it would be able to perform this task.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: PDF Reader

That isn't correct
PDF-Xchange viewer free will do that providing the document is text based and not a picture

Re: PDF Reader

I realise this is an old topic but I've used Acrobat Reader for 12 years without any apparent problems - I've never understood what people have against it.

Re: PDF Reader

It bothers for updates too often, the browser plugin is slow and the program itself is HUGE compared to other products that do the same job (~60MB for Adobe reader, around about 6MB for Foxit?)

Re: PDF Reader

All I can say in response to that is - updates don't seem to happen very often at all - it doesn't seem particularly slow opening up - and the size is pretty irrelevant; the computer I'm using now is the cheapest I could find six years ago when needing an XP machine - no problems at all here...
