PCI Wireless Adaptor required

With our house move due to take place in around a week's time I need to get a wireless adaptor for my wife's PC - I'm going to stay wired.
I have the Thomson TG585 v7 router as supplied by PN.
Am I right in the assumption that any bog-standard adaptor will sufffice? I want to go down the PCI and not USB route. Are there any specific things I should be looking for/avoiding?
Two I have seen are Buffalo Wireless-G High Speed PCI Adaptor and Novatech 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless LAN PCI Card.
Has any one purchased either of these or have a better recommendation?
Thanks

Re: PCI Wireless Adaptor required

Get the EdiMax one lower down the page at Novatech:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?EDM-54PCI
It has a separate aerial on a 1-metre lead.
I've used a lot of these, bought mostly from DABS, and they are excellent.
Close-coupled aerials can be blocked by the case, those on a lead can be moved for better reception.
