PC Backup Advice Needed

Hi,Can anyone recommend a good easy to use and reliable PC backup program.
There are so many on the market that i find it hard to decide which one to choose.
If anyone as had cause to use a backup software and got a good results then that would be helpful as you don't know how good they are  until you need it.
Also are any of the free ones that are available worth considering.
Cheers Jack

Re: PC Backup Advice Needed

For Windows I agree with Oldjim, and Acronis have an offer now with free unlimited cloud space. So maybe now's the time to invest.

Oops, bit of a misunderstanding here. It's not free as in gratis, but unlimited space is free. If you see what I mean. The pricing you have is correct, sorry if I confused you (or anyone else).

On another members rec I've just got ToDo Home.
There is a free version too, but you can trial the paid for version for 30 days(?)!

Re: PC Backup Advice Needed

It's a backup and restore package - have a look at http://www.easeus.com/backup-software/personal.html
I do daily complete backups of 2 drives to a third external drive. In the event of a problem I can just return the machine to how it was before!

Re: PC Backup Advice Needed

Thank Ned,
Had a browse of ToDo and they seem to get very good reviews even for the free one.
More you learn and harder it gets to choose but i am quite impressed with ToDo
