P2P clients supporting scheduling?

Hi Folks
I recently downloaded Azureus Vuze to download some torrent files. I was planning to do most of the downloading during my account off-peak period. But having looked through the program there doesn’t appear to be any built in scheduling options.
Is this the norm for most P2P applications? If not could anybody recommend a good client that supports scheduling?
Thanks.

Re: P2P clients supporting scheduling?

Thanks yet again Peter!
It turns out that Azureus will support scheduling with a plug-in, having installed the plug-in it reports an error initialising, so I will try uTorrent next time.

Re: P2P clients supporting scheduling?

Are you running the latest java version? Some of the plug-ins need the latest 1.6 version. Afer upgrading Java, uninstall and reinstall Vuze and see if that fixes things.
I have Vuze  running fine with the scheduler plugin.

Re: P2P clients supporting scheduling?

Hi Peter
The version checker at java.com says I have version 6 update 2. It seems to think that is the latest version. I dont know how that fits against your version numbering.
Cheers
*Edit* this is apparently 1.6.0_02-b06 So I guess it is up to date.
