Opera 12.17 - Secure connection: fatal error (47) - www.national-lottery.co.uk

Not sure if its a change to the Lottery web site or if I have changed something in Opera, but https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/sign-in results in.

Make sure your internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.
Check that the setup of any internet security software is correct and does not interfere with ordinary web browsing.
If you are behind a firewall on a Local Area Network and think this may be causing problems, talk to your systems administrator.
Try pressing the F12 key on your keyboard and disabling proxy servers, unless you know that you are required to use a proxy to connect to the internet. Reload the page.

It worked fine two weeks ago and so far it is the only web site affected and yes it works with other browsers and no I am not using that Chrome clone that is Opera 25

Same here.
Go to the error page and then select Opera/Help/Report a site problem and paste the error message in.
The more reports they get the better
either the lottery (most likely) or opera (least likely) have changed something to do with security and browser.js just needs a tweak - unfortunately it's beyond me these days to diagnose exactly what, hence send in reports and hope they fix it
