I use a spread sheet on my desktop, using Open Office... it is annoying me, because it keeps foning home to check if there is an update, presumably, every five minutes or so... ( haven`t timed it, ... but it is often....)
It annoys me because it causes corruption in another program I am using at the same time...
Is there any way of cancelling that action, in the settings or somewhere ?

Don't have OO, but in LO "Options" has an entry "Online Update" which has a tick-box for automatic checks.
