It seems to have been slightly misreported this time, if you follow the links to where it came from, you eventually find https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/End-of-IE-support and even https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle#gp/Microsoft-Internet-Explorer

Doesn't worry me - I've only ever used IE when I had my first home PC (a TINY one) and that was only until I found a replacement quite quickly.
