This ones got me pretty perplexed though I can sort of see what's happening I can't explain it.
Basically if I reboot my computer now it will lock up on Starting Windows just before the logo starts to do that spinny thing forcing a hard reset. However if I reboot my computer, press F8 and enable boot logging, it will *never* lock up (which doesn't really help with diagnosing the problem!). My thoughts are that enabling boot logging is making the hard drive work because its writing to the log file, if I don't choose the boot log option then the hard drive just stops in its tracks and locks up?
Could it be because of AHCI or whatever that hard drive thingymabob is? It's very perplexing and isn't ideal to have to keep enabling boot logging
