I cannot seem to fathom out why this occurs.
Essentially whenever I stream anything on Netflix which is over 1hr 27m 44 secs Netflix buffers and buffers and either resolves itself (after a long time) and then rebuffers or it is unwatchable. This occurs on any device connected to the internet whether it is hardwired to the router or on wifi.
I subscribe to a smart DNS service and figured it was an issue with them, but they cannot see any problems. I have tried using pn DNS, google DNS and Open DNS with the same problems. Oddly this does not occur on any other streaming service.
I have had extensive long chats with Netflix themselves, who suggest it is the Smart DNS service but this cannot be the case as I have the same problems regardless of which DNS I use.
Does anyone else have similar problems? Or can anyone suggest something I can do to resolve this.
I use a Billion 8800AXL router and have already tried hooking up the pn and or set up with similar issues.
