Have just upgraded my pc from Win98SE to Win XP Pro, and now I cant get Mailwasher Pro to work. It comes up with all my e-mail accounts at Plusnet with the message "The POP server is not responding appropriately, ensure that you have specified the address of a POP server". All the accounts on Mailwasher look correct. They certainly have "mail.plus.net" in the bit about the server.
Could the problem be the settings in Outlook Express? What should they be?
If I use Mailwasher to import, it adds an account that it must have got from OE, judging by the data, but Mailwasher gives the same complaint about that too.
Do my accounts in Mailwasher need tweaking?
Suggestions gratefully received.
