Hi I am trying to get broadband for a family member and whenever I try to go through the order process I get a message saying that there is no information about the phone line and the order cannot go ahead. It's just a normal bt phone line and not sure why this would be. I have tried putting the number into broadband availability checkers and it appears that it should be ok. I tried with a couple of providers and got the same message. Can anyone shed any light on what I can do about this? Also would there be an issue with me paying for a broadband connection in someone elses home? Can broadband supplied to one home be billed to another person at another address? Thanks.
