No WiFi connection to printer from new hub

Hi

New to the forum and hope a techy can help as PlusNet couldn't, the guy only suggested contacting Epson. Received the new hub to go with our fibre connection and found that it doesn't support our Epson XP-215 Wi-Fi printer. It worked fine with the old hub and I've tried time and time again to make a connection via different routes but without success. Is this problem solvable? or do we need to go back to a normal line and router?

PS My technical skills are very basic so will need help!

Have you tried a PC - USB connection?

Wifi almost certainly works, but you need to mess with configuration.

This is about connecting a XP-245 to a BT hub's wifi using WPS, but I'd guess the XP-215 is similar. 

(I've never used WPS myself.)

(This is more like what I've done to set printers -- basically you tell the printer what SSID to join, and the WPA2 password to use.)
