It keeps timing out just retrieving the headers this morning.

Just loaded up Opera Mail and the headers were pulled in within a couple of seconds. Still having the issues mapletree?

Almost 18 months later and something's changed:

It's even slower, in fact, I'm getting timeouts galore

Try pan - it got a refresh of the group list in 90 seconds.
