New PC For Me?

My question is whats other members opinion of this pc?any good?i think its a fair deal for the price however im unsure about the cpu,has anyone bought from this company before?and if so what like are they?

Don't know the company, I bought something similar from Novatech a while back. This looks newer spec.
Mine was Foxconn A7MX motherboard, AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 (2.7GHz dual core). 2GB DDR2 (now 4GB).
The mobo has onboard ATI Radeon 2100 graphics which work very well with Windows 7 x64.

Thanks for the reply hpsauce,i think im most likely going to put ubuntu on this pc if i go for it,its a fair price and thats it delivered aswell,im just not too sure bout the cpu as ive always went intel.

Thanks old jim but thats way out my price range £400 .plus id never go through 1tb,im only going to be surfing the net really and the pc that im looking at has no operating system either which i prefer as im going to put my own op on.

Look around the site and select / configure AMD / Intel as you wish.

I've used this company several times with no problems.  I've used AMD processors at Home and at work for 10 years with no problems.

Depending on your disk consumption, I'd find 160GB severely limiting - definitely go for at least 500GB (only £8).
I've got a nVidia (separate) video card and they seem to be well supported (legacy and new) by the manufacturer.
In fact I went for nvidia wherever possible - see attached
This hasn't caused any problems on Ubuntu.

@Axisofevil,yeah ive heard good things with nVidia and ubuntu,i would never go through 500GB though,i dont even use up 40gb on this old pc im using.So many choices and so many desicions.

Right so an update to what pc i have just purchased,i have just bought a packard bell with the following specs
Intel® Celeron® E1500 Dual-Core
(2.20GHz, 512KB Cache)
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic
2GB DDR2 memory
160GB hard drive
NVIDIA® GeForce 7050 integrated graphics
DVD Rewriter
6x USB ports
10/100/1000 Gigabit network LAN
7.1 channel sound
This is the best i could find at an affordable price especially at this time of the year,it comes with windows vista home basic,would these specs be alright to upgrade to windows seven at some stage?

I bought this laptop recently - it's a HP/Compaq & runs Windows 7.
It doesn't seem desperately fast, although it's certainly not memory limited.
By comparison with a 2 year old Linux PC (2.8GHz dual core, 1GB, 64 bit),
It only takes twice as long to boot up and twice as long to log-on.
I suspect that Windows is not very good at utilising a dual core CPU.
