New Bing maps - won't work if cookies blocked

Just went to my usual map site http://uk2.multimap.com/ and found that is now redirected to Bing - this wouldn't necessarily be a problem but this is.
It doesn't work in Firefox but it does in IE8 and I just found out why
It doesn't work as I block cookies so I have reset the permissions in Firefox to session cookies
Edit - and I won't be using it again as it won't accept OS Grid References which Multimap would

@oldjim
Thanks for the info.
I was frustrated recently, when I had wanted to take a look at an old satellite view and so went to bing, where the images are about a decade old around here.
