Network link aggregation

Hi All

Does the new type plusnet router support link aggregation (i rather doubt it but you never know)

The Traffic going in and out of my new home brew NAS (OMV Based) can saturate my Gbit network so I am thinking about using a twin aggregated link for more bandwidth.

The NAS will support it but I was wondering if the router does ?

If not I can always get a small managed switch to replace my unmanaged one quite cheaply loads of good second user ones available.

Best Regards Mark

If you are referring to the Hub One then unfortunately not.

Re: Network link aggregation

I use a simple unmanaged Gigabit switch connected to the router. The router can still provide DHCP & DNS (and internet access).

Re: Network link aggregation

Hi There

Yes that's what I do so I will need a small managed switch instead of the dumb one which supports LACP

Best Regards Mark
