Navigating Thomson CLI

I am currently on PN's IPv6 trial and am having to do more dabbling with the CLI on my TG582n than is healthy. Interaction seems clunky at best, specifically I am unclear how to:
- Delete (backspace) whilst entering commands
- Move up a level e.g. if I'm in the 'ip' configuration mode how do I move back to the 'top level'. Currently I am having to disconnect the telnet session and reconnect!
- View current config for specific sections e.g. DHCP, PPP, etc. Currently I am saving the entire config from the GUI and opening that in a text editor - ideally I'd like to view it (or rather portions of it) whilst in CLI mode.
Any help gratefully received!

Re: Navigating Thomson CLI

Delete : cursor back then press BACKSPACE only
to move up enter ..
use the menu then the config from that part (just enter menu)

Re: Navigating Thomson CLI

Depends on your telnet client, if it's the windows one I think backspace will work
if it's putty i think it's shift delete or shift backspace (sorry not logged in to one for a while)
try either .. (double dot) or : to go back a level
It also supports tab completion and most subtrees have a menu.
I have an BE one somewhere, did have a UK generic one but stupidly lent it to one of my previous employers and forgot to ask for it back when I left.  Undecided
