If anyone can help please. In trying to upgrade to fibre with PN, the order twice got 'stuck' in the system which wasn't picked up each time so therefore I waited in for engineer who didn't materialise, because of this I'd had enough so decided I would migrate to another supplier, easy you would think, but am still having problems, apparently my postcode & telephone number do not match, also BT have said my number is owned by another supplier so they cannot use it, I would have to have a new number!
From what I have researched your current supplier ( PN) has to be the one to sort out the postcode / number problem ( this could be why my upgrade orders got 'stuck' in the system), can someone please try to get this sorted? I have detailed all this on Question #97716106 but no one has answered.
Also, what do BT mean about the ownership of the line? and why can't it be transfered, so confusing, I really would rather not have a new number. I was with Talk Talk prior to PN in 2011, could it be them that own it?
Thanks.
