Mozilla Thunderbird

I have recently changed from Outlook Express to Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mails, and one of the problems I have is when I reply to an e-mail, my reply goes below the original e-mail. As a result, I have been gettin replies to my e-mail reply that I have sent the e-mail with nothing in it (they hadn't spotted my message at the bottom of their message).
Does anyone know how to get Thunderbird to put my reply above the email I am replying to? Would be grateful for some help
TIA

Re: Mozilla Thunderbird

Within Thunderbird, click on Tools, Account Settings and then under your email account, select Composition & Addressing.
Tick the box for Automatically quote the original message when replying and select start my reply above the quote from the drop-down box.
You have to do this for every email account you have configured within Thunderbird.
