Mozilla Firefox - Unresponsive script error /Freexe up

I'm running Windows 7 and havve the latest version of Firefox
It frerequentlyt freezes up and after  while of trying the screen goes pale
Then the following error comes up
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/fuelApplication.js:221"
Options: Stop script or continue
Neither option has any effect
If it means anything to anyone I noted the following from windows event viewer:

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but that didn't help.
Any advice would be apreciated

I think he meant what site was the error occurring on not the M$ site.
It may be you need to install or update the JVM (sun java)

I don't think it's that because it happens on several sites
I can remember some
Moneysavingexpert.com
gmx.com (webmail)
saynoto0870.com

Re: Mozilla Firefox - Unresponsive script error /Freexe up

Tried them - they all work, although Moneysavingexpert.com took forever.
I'm pretty sure none of those sites use Java - the Firefox component that is affected is fuelApplication.js
This is a piece of Javascript (no relation to Java!).
What happens if you close all Firefox Windows & then retry with a freshly started Firefox when you get this error?

Re: Mozilla Firefox - Unresponsive script error /Freexe up

It just happened again while trying to activate my US Dollar travellers card at Caxton.fx
https://www.caxtonfxcard.com/
I had to shut down firefox but in this case I continued using Opera instead which worked fine.
I'm back on Firefox now sending this.
Its never gone wrong using community.plus.net forums

Re: Mozilla Firefox - Unresponsive script error /Freexe up

Do you have any add-ons?
Especially any that are not your "top ten" - if so disable them, because that caxton site is very fast loading for me...
