Hi, I'm moving from Sky Unlimited LLU to Plusnet Unlimited. I have this morning placed the order with Plusnet paying 12 months up front line rental. I have emailed Sky to tell them that I'll be leaving them shortly and that Plusnet will be arranging the switch. I think that's it. Is there anything else for me to do? Thanks.
I went live with Plusnet from SKY LLU nearly a couple of weeks ago. You, should get a letter from Sky confirming that you do really want to leave them and asking you to call their "Retentions Team"; Sky, will try and persuade you to stay. I went down the same route as you. (I will transfer to "fibre" in a few months.) Phone went live first and broadband followed about 14 hours later. Smooth transition. Hope all goes well for you as well.
