Mobile unable to send or receive emails

Mobile unable to send or receive emails

I have a desktop and a mobile. About 3-weeks ago the mobile ceased to be able to either send or receive emails. Carphone say it's a problem caused by my own Domain name in my email address and PlusNet should sort it. Plusnet offer various explanations ranging from faulty phone to email client problem.....K-9
Can anyone help, the lack of assistance is frustrating.

Resolved and corrected 100% by O2 Guru in the local O2 shop.
A quite superb service, replacing the K9 email client with the BlueMail client.
O2 offering locally superb free software "repairs."
